What Are Zebra Blinds?
Banded shades are not new to the window covering industry. For years, they’ve had other names, such as layered shades and zebra blinds. The “zebra blinds” nickname refers to the striped pattern that is so well-loved among homeowners. No matter what you call them, the operation is simple. Two layers of fabrics rotate to create varying atmospheres within a room. In one position, you can see through sheer fabrics to the outdoors. As they shift, the patterns line up in a way that blocks the view and entering light. The entire shade is capable of rolling up into the headrail to disappear from view.
